o Plan, organize and control a work group to meet production schedules.
o Maintain safe working conditions, safe work practices and good housekeeping in area of responsibility.
o Improve methods and processes to improve productivity, reduce costs and improve quality.
o Train, develop, instructs, and motivate employees to achieve maximum efficiency.
o Understand all applicable company policies, standards and procedures and communicate to ensure compliance by all employees in area of responsibility.
o Recognize and discipline employees according to established procedures.
o Understand bottlenecks that limit production and take necessary corrective action.
o Insure flow of materials to meet production needs.
o Ensure proper equipment and tools for workforce to complete tasks.
Requirements include:
o B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering preferred, but not required.
o 5-10 years of relevant Manufacturing Supervisory experience.
o Possess a wide variety of skill and knowledge, supervising complex tasks
o Lean Manufacturing
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
