As a small manufacturing company we are searching for a reliable employee to monitor the molding and trimming process of rubber mats from start to finish while complying with all safety, quality, quantity, and housekeeping standards.

50 with a shift differential for 3rd shift.

1st shift Mon - Fri 7 am-3 pm 3rd shift Sun-Thu 11 pm - 7 am Work Environment:
While performing duties of this job, employees will be exposed to regularly high heat, rubber particles, rubber dust, sulfur, fragrance oil, and latex.
Noise level is high.

Physical stamina needed as this position requires long periods of standing, lifting, twisting, and moving.
Duties of a production associate:
Monitors molding process and removes finished mats from mold.
Follow procedures to unload the elevator of molds Ability to unload a mat from the mold Ability to rotate the press molds Accurately move mats across rollers Correctly operate the punch press to true the mats Ability to follow procedures to stack mats Ability to run the controls -- beginning knowledge Ability to understand and how to handle hoist operations Correctly operate the press to true the mats Consistently rotate molds to meet production standards Clean refuse tank prior to start of production on each shift.
Cuts all mat orders accurately and on time for scheduled shipments.
Has working knowledge of water jet machine to start up, load program and run program.
Troubleshoots and makes minor repairs to equipment.
Has knowledge of mat grading system to utilize proper mats for proper orders.
Maintains accurate inventory of mats used for orders, and restocks shelves as needed, prior to end of each shift.
Turns in shop orders daily at the end of each shift for processing.
Maintains department in a clean and safe working condition.
When scheduled production runs are complete, shall assist in other areas of production.
Follows written and verbal instructions with minimum direct supervision.
Education / Skills Required:
High school diploma or equivalent and basic computer knowledge.
Basic reading and writing skills Basic math and problem-solving skills 1
