We are currently searching for Payroll Clerk to join our manufacturing team.
Naturpak Focus Area The Human Resources Generalist plays a key role in keeping our employees informed and engaged.
The role serves as a point of contact for employees with questions related to human resources payroll, policies, and employee events while maintaining a high degree of professionalism.
This role will report to the Human Resources Manager.
Description and Responsibilities Process weekly payroll timely and accurately, including reviewing timecards and employee deductions Enter data into payroll system to compute wages and deductions Compile, maintain, and accurately file garnishments, levies, and unemployment, retirement funds, and other payroll related items Prepare and issues checks Generates weekly payroll reports Review and make approved edits and comments in the SAP Timekeeping system Reconcile employee benefits against invoices monthly Prepare and participate in any payroll audits Assist the Finance Staff when necessary, regarding Payroll reports Reconcile invoices related to timekeeping and payroll of temporary staff Assist in collecting, entering, and maintaining employee information in the payroll database Answer employee calls regarding questions or concerns on their payroll, research and resolve discrepancies Maintain confidentially of all information's Oversee company-wide events Conduct Exit Interviews Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training and development initiatives Provide support to employees in various HR related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise Promote HR programs Gather and analyze data useful HR metrics Maintain employee files Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly and ensuring compliance Actively involved in disciplinary cand conflict resolution Assist in verifications of employment for previous and current employees New hire onboarding for office staff Responsible for awards program Responsible for weekly communication to the facilities Visibility at both plants All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Ability to work quickly and accurately An eye for detail to understand complex issues Strong math, and stronger written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of payroll software preferred Proficient in Microsoft Office Team Player Strong clerical, administrative, and general office skills Ability to work under tight deadlines Good organization and time management skills Physical Demands of the Position:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee must be able to see, speak, hear, read, type, walk, and reach with hands and arms for long periods.
The employee must be able to pull, push, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, balance, and lift more than 50 lbs.
There is extensive walking and standing required 1st Shift No 3rd Party Calls or Emails Qualifications.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
