Summary of Position KANDU is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Production/Operations Manager to join our production team.
In this position, your primary responsibility is to be a trustworthy and motivated leader who is adaptable to change.
Your duties will include mentoring, monitoring, and training clients and employees, maintaining consistent safety standards, analyzing the efficiency of processes, organizing workflows, overseeing operations of our production facilities, and promoting a positive culture.
Job Duties Train, mentor, and support clients and employees.
Promote a safe and happy production environment for our employees.
Report and/or fix any safety issues.
Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment.
Assist in quoting, operational planning, customer communication, and resource planning.
Support and enforce with consistency the plant safety process and rules.
Provide leadership and direction to production employees by actively working with and effectively communicating to ensure a quality product.
Maintain production requirements while minimizing scrap levels.
Efficient manpower utilization - both clients and staff.
Ensure that all products are manufactured in accordance with customer specifications and approved processes.
Oversee audits and control quality.
Development of departmental goals and objectives.
Provide effective employee training/development.
Complete accurate and timely shift paperwork and reports.
Ensure compliance with 14 (c) regulations.
Support proper resolution to the conflict.
When required, be able to report in review meetings manufacturing results with supportive details and corrective action plans outlined.
Assure that production schedules are met.
Act with a high sense of urgency, in particular concerning customer needs.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
Ensure strict compliance with plant housekeeping and safety standards.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
2 years experience in a production role preferred Proven leadership experience Physically capable and available to work some overtime if needed including weekends.
Operative problem-solving abilities Ability to stay calm under pressure Active listener and Critical thinker Excellent written and verbal communication skills Must be well-organized and can prioritize tasks Basic computer knowledge and Microsoft Office knowledge Must be able to pass a Caregiver Background Check Must possess a valid driver's license, pass an MVR check, and hold minimum state vehicle insurance Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull at least 50 pounds Job Type:
