Janesville, WI Janesville, WI Full-time Full-time $95,000 - $105,000 a year $95,000 - $105,000 a year We are looking for an energetic, safety and detail-oriented Warehouse Site Manager to join our high performing team of warehousing and logistics professionals.
This position reports to the VP or Director of Warehouse Operations and is the primary customer contact for the warehousing facility.
Responsible for the successful day-to-day management, administration and reporting of all warehouse business activities including, but not limited to, functional excellence, planning, adhering to budget, inventory accuracy, business metrics, and safety related functions.
Coordinates the activities of all functions within the facility to ensure customer delivery goals are met every hour, every day.
The Site Manager must successfully adhere to the organization's level of customer service based on corporate.
Qualifications This individual is responsible for the successful day-to-day management of all operational, financial, human resources, safety, quality, continuous improvement, and technology managers.
The ideal candidate will be responsible and accountable for ensuring best practices (standard of work, shift start meetings, metrics dashboards) as well as safety policies and procedures are followed and always maintained by the operations staff.
Administers company policies, procedures, and programs in a timely and professional manner.
Responsible for management and administration of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
This leader will naturally and successfully adhere to the organization's level of customer service based on corporate mission and values as well as demonstrating the organizational core value set at all times.
Establish and maintain a positive customer relationship.
Must become well versed in all departments, processes, and be able to mitigate / resolve customer issues.
Must have a strong background in warehousing and logistics with a clear understanding of industry standards.
Must have strong soft skills, a culturally aware etiquette, a proven track record in accountability of teams, and the ability to coach while motivating teams.
Must have good oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers, drivers, and other team members in person and on the telephone.
Skills and
Experience:
Excellent interpersonal skills Bachelor's degree in Management or related fields, an MBA is a plus Six Sigma Black or Green Belt is desired and a plus 5-10 years as a Senior Operational Management Leader, Site Manager, or equivalent position combined with 3-5 years in the Warehousing / Logistics field Proficient with Microsoft Office, production and inventory management systems (APICS certification, a plus) Ability to analyze data and process flows Familiar with strong continuous improvement standards and methodology All team members must be able to lift 40lbs, twist, bend, walk, stand for extended periods of time, follow all safety protocol, and always look for ways to continuously improve.

At times, it may be very hot and can get cold due to the climate.
There is forklift traffic in all areas in the warehouse.
