Activities require interaction with application software and operating systems to diagnose and resolve issues for our customers and staff either remotely or onsite of customer.
The position's responsibilities require independent analyses, organization, communication, and problem solving.
Work performed requires initiative, judgement, and attention to detail.

Experience and Qualifications Required Bachelor's Degree in Computer or IT related area of study or equivalent preferred.
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
Good organizational, time management skills and the ability to multitask.
Experience supporting a wide variety of hardware, software, mobile, and peripherals strongly encouraged.
Working knowledge of Microsoft family of products.
Exceptional customer service and conflict management skills.
Knowledge of servers and networking a plus.
Duties and Responsibilities Assists customers remotely as well as onsite using the necessary tools and troubleshooting skills to resolve hardware and software problems.
Monitor phone, email, and task system to guarantee timely resolution of support requests.
Create, organize, and prioritize support tasks.
Works with vendor support contacts as needed.
Assigns support tasks requiring a higher level of knowledge to a Network Technician as appropriate.
Works with Network Operations Staff as appropriate to determine and resolve problems received from customers.
Works with Programming staff as appropriate to determine and resolve problems received from customers.
Provides primary support for creating, enabling, disabling, or removing system user accounts internally and in some cases externally.
Coordinates with other IT staff and users to identify the need for new systems and/or recommend enhancements to improve IT operations.
Assesses functional needs to determine specifications for purchases.
Ability to keep sensitive information secure (i.
e.
passwords, system security features, proprietary information).
Develops and maintains written instructional materials on internal and external systems.
Communicates with and instructs novice and expert computer users relative to hardware and software support issues.
Installs, configures, and performs minor repairs to hardware, software, and peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications and assists staff with ongoing usability.
Builds computer equipment for deployment to customers and staff following standard procedures to ensure consistency of final product.
