Here at PSG/CIP, we are a community-based social services organization seeking passionate individuals to join us as Youth Support Specialists.
As the Youth Support Specialist, you will provide individual skill development and support to youth and adults referred through the Comprehensive Community Services (CCS) Program.
You'll help clients achieve their individualized goals by assisting them in their journey toward success.
Our program is all about making a difference in the lives of our clients and their families.
We offer a range of services including individual meetings, fun recreational activities that build social skills, crisis intervention, school support, and parent contact.

Apply today to join our team! KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE YOUTH SUPPORT SPECIALIST:
Analyze youth capabilities, strengths and problems to determine the services required to meet the unique needs of youth.
Implement, evaluate and review client goals in collaboration with team members, youth and their families.
Exercise judgment to intervene as an advocate for clients in school, the community and during emergency and crisis situations.
Attend client team meetings.
Organize and facilitate individual meetings and structured recreational activities that assist youth in developing pro-social skills and connections.
Safely transport clients as needed.
LOCATION:
Office is based in Janesville, Wisconsin with some flexibility to work hybrid/remote when client home visits are not scheduled.
Local travel will be required to meet with clients in Rock, Jefferson, and/or Walworth Counties, with mileage reimbursement.
Must be able to meet in-person with clients in Rock, Jefferson, and Walworth County areas of Wisconsin.
SCHEDULE:
Scheduled hours are varied during business hours Monday-Friday between 9:
00am and 6:
00pm with occasional weekends.

Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, or related.
Must have reliable transportation on a daily basis, a valid driver's license and automobile insurance.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
