Summary:
Relieves IS department staff of clerical work and minor administrative and business detail by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Types, copies and distributes accordingly correspondence, meeting minutes, and memos. Prepares reports, logs and other related department information, which may include entering pertinent information into computer system. Maintains filing system. Answers telephone, screens calls, and relays messages. Sorts and distributes internal and external mail, orders departmental supplies, and checks in new computers to inventory. Provides other departmental clerical support as requested. Provides administrative support for special projects. Attends meetings and participates on committees as directed. May be required to work overtime during peak periods. Performs other duties as assigned.
AGE OF PATIENT POPULATION:
Adult
EDUCATION, TRAINING, &
Experience:
High school diploma. One to two years related experience equivalent combination of education and experience required. _Candidates with_ _IS experience preferred._
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Word processing and typing skills. Good organizational/communication skills. Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications. Familiar with Information Systems terminology and basic PC operation.
SPECIAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
LEVEL OF SUPERVISION/SUPERVISES:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
