Position Description
Primary Function:
The primary function of this role will be to identify business opportunities, provide strategic solutions and drive sales while demonstrating the knowledge, skills, activities and performance required at a level consistent with company expectations.
This role is responsible for all customer interface in assigned accounts. Manage quality and consistency of product and service delivery. Accountable for driving maximum customer product-line penetration and delivering profitability consistent with E & R Industrials policies and objectives.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Become embedded with target market clients and expand client exposure to full line of company products.
Market to complete organizational levels within target markets
Review and submit consolidated sales call reports to management
Participate in weekly sales meetings.
Recommend changes to marketing plans, business plans, and sales strategies based on marketplace.
Maintain continuous flow of new-business opportunities
Learn and understand E & R Industrials products and the added value we bring to clients. Effectively convey this message to the decision makers at strategic key accounts to build solid business relationships.
Research and analyze the strategic business direction and needs of each assigned account to position them against assessed customer needs in a compelling, differentiated fashion.
Maintain relationships with existing contacts and respond to new leads to establish new strategic relationships to further customer engagement.
Determine, prepare and present E & R Industrial products to each customer and show a compelling reason how E & R Industrial can help with each customer's purchasing needs.
Frequently conduct pricing, product availability and delivery issues analysis and recommend strategies and/or policies that will increase customer engagement and retention while adding value.
Manage excellent sense for expense, cost and margin levers that drive profitability; know what choices to make or customer responses to guide to ensure customer profitability even as strong customer relationships are maintained.
Complete client research and market assessment. This includes closely following news events, identifying immediate opportunities, and ensuring timely capitalization of opportunities and issues that influence these accounts.
Project manage and lead activities and communication between each account and E & R Industrial products to achieve appropriate business solutions.
Position Requirements
Preferred Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business Management preferred or applicable work experience in lieu of education
Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to persuade and influence others. Ability to create, compose and edit written materials.
Planning skills. Strong time and customer management skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of sales promotion techniques.
Understands customer business models and resulting business dynamics of small to medium customers. Must be able to weigh opportunities and future growth potential to develop and grow business relationships.
Personal attributes must include assertiveness, high energy level and resiliency.
Computer proficiency with all Microsoft business software.
Ability to acquire new skills and to accommodate change in the workplace.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
